when i was younger shy and tame
the world fell far from dreams of fame
i had not yet embraced my naked form
but was confused by the social norm
cultural input from the prudish
they stand opposed, quite foolish
we all have a body, a pride to claim
but not everyone is fearless, held by others shame
for someone relaxed in their skin
rebellion, bravery, they don’t begin
you are just comfy who you are
no hidden meanings attached, not by far
our bodies are a mirror of comfort and ease
not of hidden blocks found in peace
accept every curve and edge from up to down
from the tips of my toes to my crown
the human body is a canvas of soul
a masterpiece made by the universe, perfectly whole
your life, your body, your joy in the air
body positivity isn’t for all to share
be with those who love body art
who look beyond the depth, not just the part
when the brilliance of the body beats the thinking mind
then you reign supreme, with your true self alligned
your body is a temple
where your energy assemble
cherish it with grace
for it’s your sacred space
